Classes For All Ages & Skill Levels

Tumbling specifically refers to the practice of skills and techniques performed on the floor or trampoline. It focuses on developing strength, flexibility, and coordination through skills such as flips, handsprings, and cartwheels. Tumbling is a great choice for those who love flips but prefer not to engage in the broader apparatus-based gymnastics training. Additionally, tumbling classes are a great add-on for all of the cheerleaders working on tumbling skills.

Tumbling Class Options

Beginner Tumbling

All Ages / Entry Level

No experience? No problem! Our Beginner class is the perfect entry point for athletes of any age. We focus on building a strong foundation of strength and technique in a supportive, inclusive atmosphere. This level is all about gaining the confidence to try new things and mastering the basics that make advanced skills possible.

Students will be able to learn and master the following skills: Forwards Rolls, Backwards Rolls, Cartwheel, Handstands, Pushup, Backbend, and Standing Backbend.

Level 1 Tumbling

In Level 1 we turn basics into building blocks. Athletes focus on body control and the precision needed for more powerful movements. Our coaches emphasize safety and proper form, ensuring every student feels capable and encouraged as they begin to transition from static skills to moving sequences.

Students will be able to learn and master the following skills: Handstand Roll, Backwards Roll to Push Up, Power Hurdle Roundoff, and Backbend Kickover.

Advanced Level 1 Tumbling

Ready to take it up a notch? Advanced Level 1 is where we introduce more complex flexibility and “over” skills. This class is designed for the athlete who has mastered the basics and is ready to work on the grace and strength required for walkovers and limbers.

Students will be able to learn and master the following skills: Backwalkover, Front Limber, Frontwalkover, and Frontwalkover Roundoff.

Level 2 Tumbling

Level 2 is an exciting milestone where athletes begin to master the back handspring. We focus on the explosive power and technical timing needed for both standing and running tumbling. It’s a high-energy environment where “I can’t” becomes “I did!”

Students will be able to learn and master the following skills: Standing Backhandspring, Power Hurdle Roundoff Backhandspring, and Backwalkover Backhandspring.

Advanced Level 2 Tumbling

In Advanced Level 2, we emphasize endurance and consistency. Athletes work on connecting multiple handsprings and perfecting their entry from front walkovers. This level builds the grit and repetition needed to move toward elite-level tumbling.

Students will be able to learn and master the following skills: Frontwalkover Roundoff Backhandspring, Standing 3 Backhandspring, and Roundoff 3 Backhandspring.

Level 3 Tumbling

Level 3 is a major leap forward as we move away from having “hands on the floor” for every skill. Athletes focus on the “Tuck”—learning the core strength and height required for flips. It’s an empowering stage where students truly start to feel like elite athletes.

Students will be able to learn and master the following skills: Standing Tuck, Roundoff Backhandspring Tuck, Punch Front, and Frontwalkover Roundoff Backhandspring Tuck.

Level 4 Tumbling

In Level 4, we focus on “airtime.” Athletes work on the Layout, emphasizing a straight-body position and the height needed for advanced rotation. Our coaches provide expert spotting and technical drills to ensure these high-level skills are achieved safely and with total confidence.

Students will be able to learn and master the following skills: Cartwheel Tuck, Standing Backhandspring Tuck, Standing 2 backhandspring Tuck, Roundoff Backhandspring Layout, and Standing 2 Backhandspring Layout.

Level 5 Tumbling

Level 5 is where athleticism meets artistry. We introduce “The Full”—360 degrees of rotation in the air. This class is for the dedicated athlete looking to master specialty passes and elite-level twisting sequences in a professional, high-performance environment.

Students will be able to learn and master the following skills: Punch Front Step Out, Roundoff Backhandspring Full, Roundoff Arabian, and Standing 2 Backhandspring Full.

Level 6 Tumbling

Our highest level of tumbling is designed for the most advanced athletes. Level 6 focuses on “Doubles” and elite standing skills. We provide the technical equipment and expert coaching necessary for athletes to reach the top tier of the sport while maintaining a culture of excellence.

Students will be able to learn and master the following skills: Standing Full, Cartwheel Full, Roundoff Arabian, Roundoff Backhandspring Full, and Roundoff Backhandspring Double Full.

LEVEL 1 TUMBLING

Ages 5+ Our Level Two Tumbling class is designed for athletes who have mastered the basics of tumbling and are ready to take their skills to the next level. In this class, students will focus on refining their foundational movements while progressing to more advanced techniques, such as back handsprings, round-offs, and front handsprings. Emphasis is placed on building strength, flexibility, and control as athletes work on improving their form and technique. With a greater focus on timing, coordination, and fluidity, Level Two Tumbling challenges students to push their limits and prepare for more complex skills. This class is perfect for those who are ready to move beyond the basics and take their tumbling to new heights in a fun, supportive environment!

Level 1 Tumbling

Ideal for newcomers, this class lays the groundwork for tumbling. Athletes will focus on mastering foundational skills such as handstands, cartwheels, front and back walkovers, and roundoffs. Emphasis is placed on building strength, flexibility, and confidence, providing a solid base for future progression.

Ages 5+

Our Level One Tumbling class is designed for beginners who are eager to learn the fundamentals of acrobatic movement. Whether you’re new to tumbling or have some experience, this class will focus on building strength, flexibility, and coordination through foundational skills. Students will work on essential techniques like forward and backward rolls, handstands, cartwheels, and basic jumps. With a strong emphasis on proper form and body control, Level One Tumbling provides a safe and supportive environment to develop the confidence and skills needed for more advanced tumbling movements. Perfect for children looking to start their tumbling journey, this class offers a fun and engaging way to improve overall fitness while mastering the basics of tumbling!

Our Boys Tumbling class is designed specifically to help male athletes develop strength, agility, and acrobatic skills in a fun and supportive environment. Focusing on powerful, athletic tumbling techniques, this class teaches foundational skills like handstands, cartwheels, back handsprings, with a special emphasis on body control, flexibility, and explosive power. Boys will build confidence while learning dynamic movements that enhance overall athleticism, coordination, and discipline. Whether they’re new to tumbling or looking to improve their skills, this class offers a great way to challenge themselves and have fun while mastering the basics of acrobatics.

Ages 5+

Handsprings is a more advanced class. This class is the bridge between basic skills and the higher level power tumbling. In this class students will be learning more advanced tumbling skills. These include handsprings and round off handsprings, front handsprings
